A native of California, Dena began her professional career at the age of 15 ...(just 10 yrs ago...ahem)…and has since performed on all 7 continents!

Dena's favorite theatre credits include playing Laura Tanner in the world premiere of “Hollywood  Hollywood”,  starring in the world premiere of week15 in the play “365” (written by Pulitzer prize winning playwright Suzan Lori Parks), Roxie Hart in “Chicago”, Adelaide in “Guys and Dolls”, Jewel in 99cent massacre at the Ricardo Montalban Theatre,  and Fanny Ward in the world premiere of “Sessue” in Tokyo.

Proving herself as a versatile actress, she's represented Universal Studios worldwide performing in her own show  “I Wanna Be Loved By You” as Marilyn Monroe, The Bride of Frankenstein in “The Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue” and Natasha Fatale in “The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show”. (How's that for range?!)

Dena sang behind Petula Clark, Little Richard, and the legendary John Raitt. One of her favorite onstage experiences was performing at The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion with the original cast of “A Chorus Line”.

Not bad for a gal who began singing and dancing at Disneyland as a “Kid of the Kingdom”  - both here in Anaheim (where she met James Gray), and at Disney Tokyo, where she played Mary Poppins. She then worked for Norwegian Cruise Lines belting out tunes like “Take me home” -  wearing nothing but a sequined  bikini and a feathered headdress!

Film Credits include: “Night Eyes” with Andrew Stevens, “Open House” with Adrienne Barbeau, “Afterlife”, and “Last Call”. All big box office hits.

Television credits include: “The Young and the Restless”,  the MOW “To the Heroes”, Fox kids “Wake, Rattle and Roll”, and the “Disney Yuletide Special”.

Bringing love and joy to the world are two of Dena's greatest passions. She is currently studying acting and life with Darryl Hickman, and singing and self empowerment from Cathy Gabrielle Wallace.

She has learned some of her most important life lessons backstage at Casita del Campo such as “More is More” and “Big is only a place to start”.  She LOVES The Fruit Cake Follies, and so looks forward to beef tacos, salsa, coke with lemon, and spending the holidays with James, Micah, Momma, Leslie, her fairygoddess daughter Lolly, Sandy, Michael, Mr. Dan, and all of the truly wonderful talented people behind the scenes.
